The “Ojo de Dios,” translated as the “Eye of God, is a native Mexican craft that is part of the Huichol tradition. The Huichol indians, who prefer to be called Wixáritari, traditionally make an Ojo de Dios when a child is born and then one each year for first 4 years of his or her life, adding a special blessing to each one.
